Biography
Bjorn Bjornsvik is the Principal Investigator of Causal Architectonics, a founder-led independent research institution examining the structures, constraints, incentives and systems of authority from which consequential technological and institutional outcomes emerge.
His professional work spans cybersecurity, data protection, technology risk, resilience and AI governance. He has held senior advisory and leadership responsibilities across complex and regulated environments, with particular emphasis on governance, risk, assurance and the responsible exercise of technological authority.
Through Causal Architectonics, he conducts independent research into the causal architectures underlying emerging technologies and complex systems. Its public research includes the Machine Bylaws and Reading the Universe programmes, together with the standalone jurisprudential work Artificial Agency Without Personhood.
